Tis' the Season

Advent is the Season of Mary! Mary, our Mother waited for the birth of her Son. Her Son was God's Son. Advent is the waiting with Mary for the birth of her son in you. Each year He comes into our hearts and souls offering new gifts of joy, peace and love. Each year He is awaiting His birth in you in a new and radical way. He comes offering many gifts, gifts that are spiritual, healing gifts but the true gift He brings is Himself and all that He is. So, close your eyes for a moment, imagine that you are the manger. Then Mary comes bending down over you and places her baby boy inside of you. She gives us this gift every Christmas because she wants to share her Son with you. Her Son who is God. Pray during these last days of Advent to be open to receive not only Jesus but all that He is!
