Engaging Our Father

To engage the Father through the Son is a mystery, however can be done through grace, which is living the presence of God at all times. Practicing the presence of God is thought provoking. I have discovered that it is God, Our Father who is engaging us, you and me. He is the perfect Father who cares so deeply for His children, that He would do anything to reach out to each one of us. He didn't do just anything, God the Father gave everything He had, His own Son, so that He could reach each one of us. Why? That we may return to Him, in love, in mercy, in eternal life. Which means to live with him in Heaven.

Have you ever pondered the words of Jesus from John 14:3, "In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be."

Or how about this one from John 14:9, "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father."

Have you pondered Jesus in the Eucharist and repeated these words, "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father." Are you only looking at Jesus when the Holy Trinity is looking directly at you! You are the one they are interested in. You are important to God. You matter in this life. God knows it but do you know it? Your Father wants to be with you, so go and look at Him through the lens of the Eucharist, His only begotten Son, in the Holy Spirit.

God bless you!
